Set in botanic gardens by the ocean,
the hotel is 10 minutes from Stone Town or from the Airport but is an oasis of peace to return to after your busy day.

a nature trail and visits to see the spice plantations, stone town and to swim with dolphins.

The Mbweni Spa owned and run by Daja, international hairstylist, offers hairstyling, colouring and cuts
as well as many exciting pampering treatments, in two beautiful rooms set in the old Ruins.
Try the Yoga classes run by Jo Fox, held three times a week at Mbweni
Jo Fox is an Internationally accredited Yoga teacher based in Zanzibar.
She holds regular classes within the atmospheric and historical walls of the ruined chapel.
Romantic ruins from the era of Livingstone can be explored
in their lush botanic garden environment,
and over the years we have striven to provide a personal and discreet service
in one of the most beautiful natural and historic situations in Zanzibar.
There are no phones or TVs in the room, to allow you peace. But we do have an Internet Cafe in the main reception area.
